Klaviyo is an online email marketing and automation platform specifically designed for e-commerce brands. With its powerful segmentation feature, you are able to send targeted emails based on customer behaviors and their interactions with previous emails.
Klaviyo allows you to connect to e-Commerce tools such as Shopify to enable payment processing and purchases via email. You can start with a free account that allows you to have 250 contacts and send 500 emails, including newsletters.

Using Klaviyo On Oviond
Klaviyo connects to Oviond using an API Key. This authentication only needs to be done once per Klaviyo account.

Data Available On Oviond For Klaviyo Widgets
Klaviyo’s integration has a range of metrics that are available when creating a widget in Oviond. You can view all of Klaviyo’s metrics once you have successfully connected the integration to your client project.
Top metrics available on Oviond for Klaviyo:
- Clicked Email – When a recipient clicked an email.
- Opened Email – When a recipient opens an email.
- Updated Email Preference – When a recipient updates their email preference.
- Unsubscribed – When someone unsubscribes from emails globally.
- Clicked SMS – When a recipient clicks on a link within an SMS message.
- Sent SMS – When someone texted your destination number to subscribe.
- Unsubscribed From SMS – When a recipient texts STOP and unsubscribe from your SMS messages.

Using Klaviyo In Dashboards, Reports, and Funnels
Klaviyo metrics can be used across dashboards and reports on Oviond. You can add Klaviyo metrics using our intuitive widget builder, which has a list of all the valuable measures you need to report on the performance of your emails.
Custom Templates For Klaviyo On Oviond
Oviond doesn’t offer standard or blended templates for Klaviyo data, however, you are able to create a custom template with Klaviyo data that can be used in the future within the same client.
Unless you are creating a template for the same client, you will not be able to create a Klaviyo template to use across clients as the metrics on Klaviyo differ from account to account. Even if the metrics between accounts are named the same, each account will carry a different ID for the same metric. Therefore, by creating a template to use within another client the system won’t find the metrics listed on the template.
If you would like to create a custom template to use with the same client, you can do this by selecting “Add Dashboard” or “Add Report” in a client project. Under Oviond’s standard template tab, select “Blank Dashboard” to start a template from scratch.
Once you are done creating your Klaviyo template, select “Save As Template” to create a new custom template. To access your custom template you can select the “Custom Template” tab under “Add Report” or “Add Dashboards”.
